Distressing is a necessity among we humans especially when we’ve undergone a lot of workload or we have pressing issues on our mind .
Tips on How To Distress
The following are tips on how I distress which I would like to encourage you all to practice when you need to distress
Read a book :
Reading a book is one of the best way to distress . Why is that ?
Because reading takes off one mind from any disturbing matter and puts you in a different place of thought especially since your point of focus would be on the storyline of the book. Therefore when one wants to distress reading a book should be one of your rescue points .
Watch a Movie :
Not everyone loves to read a book which makes watching a movie come into place . Movies are known to distress people due to the fact that most people get engrossed in a movie . Since movies are physically displayed it tends to get one’s attention more . This way people can get to ease off stress by enjoying whatever they are watching and some people eventually sleep off while watching a movie which means they’ve finally been able to rest.
Listen to Music :
Another tip on how to distress is by listening to Music. Music they say is the best therapy for the soul. When you want to distress ,listening to music is a good one because music puts the body in a relaxed state and uplifts one’s mood . Listening to music is actually my major relaxation/ distressing method and I think you should also try it out.
Watch / Make Funny Videos :
Another major tip on how to distress is making or watching funny videos . These days there are lots of applications created for people to watch and also make funny videos and they can easily remove your mind from any stressful thought because most funny videos tend to make one laugh and while laughing the body tends to loosen up all the tensions .
Talk to A friend :
I know this might sound weird but talking to a friend or someone actually eases off stress . Because once you explain what is bothering you , your mind gets relieved and it is also good in the sense that you could also get solutions to what is bothering your mind .
The following are tips on how to distress which I think everyone should practice one or two in times of stress.
